mr.eman and friends

we decided to take our show on the road, well no more, boat and plane. Long story short, we:re in Japan now.  lupi and mr.eman are entertaining the eastern crowd and breaking down the language barrier thanks to our magic. the response to our performances has been one of the best we:ve had thus far. Everyone is really patient and very respectful here, we:ve had no hecklers. Even the drunks are really friendly.

Most people here are eager to talk to english speaking people to improve their english, and we want to learn their language as well so it is a fun game of hand gestures to try to understand one another. we:ve met people with real good english too.  we had to put a stop to the musical side of street performing because we were being too loud and we got warned.

the magic is still going strong, sometime we do almost a mime act with no talking at all and it goes over just as well.

we will have some pictures up soon from our visit to japan as well as some new magic videos. so stay tuned.

and also the site is going to be renovated as well.

well since the last one was so fun and successfull we’re doing it again.

mr.eman at bruno’s again. this time on june 11th. this will be an interesting show; music magic and sales?

yes, we’re going to be moving so we’ll have things to sell, the main things are instruments.

So the time has come at last for an intimate night of magic and music and friends. This show’s been long overdue, it was originally planned for November, then Xmas, but now it’s finally here. Mr.Eman and a few friends have been regular patrons at Bruno’s in Banff, It’s one of the best atmostpheres on a Wed night. That’s when the open mic night is. Lots of talented people come by here and this is where they share those talents.  Whenever mr.eman and friends are on stage for that night it’s always a party, everyone’s dancing, singing along, quite the joyous occasion. Now the party can go all night. Mr.Eman has invited some of his talented open mic friends to help with the show. Also on the bill a few magic tricks are to be expected, i think this is the only venue in Banff that can offer that at the moment. If you wanna see magic, hear catchy music and eat some great food while getting drunk and boisterous, this is the show to go to. So come one, come all, join us for a ball.

mr.eman will be part of the regular festivities at Bruno’s pub in Banff this Wed. It’s in between Aardvark’s and the Devil’s gap if you haven’t been there already. There is currently a full show in progress, the date is uncertain but it will be on a Thursday or a Saturday.  In the meantime, you can catch mr.eman and some of his musically talented friends rocking the house at Bruno’s pretty much every Wednesday night. There is no cover and you are invited to come up and jam, if you know what you’re doing that is.

Although this is not brand new, it Is the latest video.

Welcome to the first post. We’re changing things a bit around here. The old sites are still available for viewing. click on music home or magic home on the left there if you wanna see em. This blog is just going to make it easier for us to update you with valuable information. And it also allows us to branch out and cover more topics than a simple flashy promotional website.  I’ve tried to post lots of old content on the links buttons on the left there. So if you’re new here, visit some of those to get more acquainted.

OK so the first update, if you don’t know already, is the distance situation.

Unfortunately we cannot perform or accept any invitations to do any more London shows, for the time being at least. Because Lupi and I are both quite far away.

I am currently in Banff, AB, which is on the border of BC, and feels more like BC, but enough about that.

and Lupi is currently all the way in Italy.

This is not a permanent setup, we will be back in ontario within a few months time.

But right now we are enjoying our vacation time, and exposing our talents internationally.

i guess you could say we’re on tour, well sorta.
